I am an Animation and Visual Effects Student Artist studying at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California graduating in the Fall of 2024. 

 

I was known as the person with an adult-like body (my friends like to call it fun-sized), but a child’s mind and imagination. I was the person who always won first place in any competition involving creativity and imagination that was hosted in school. It led me to my dream career which is Animation and Visual Effects.

I grew up watching movies every day. Screen time was my favorite time of the day. I would go to the movie theater once a week to experience the thrill of being in someone else's story. I watched Marvel on repeat and never got bored of it. Marvel movies were the reason I discovered my passion for Visual Effects. I imagined myself as part of the Avengers when I was a young heroine who hasn't been struck by lightning...yet.

I often daydream a lot while looking at nature imagining weird characters going through adventures and fighting obstacles in the wild. It might be childish for some people but to me, it’s not. Imagination comes and goes like the wind and can be forgotten easily, that’s why I always have a small notebook filled with all the ideas that come to my mind. I like to drench notebooks with my ideas because creativity is endless like a bottomless drink.

Every superhero has a superpower, this is mine. I was born with a creative mind like no other.
